My rating: 👑👑👑👑👑 5/5 Great neigborhood library for families
Overview
This is a beautiful neighborhood library. I would definitely be walking here everyday or at least once a week to enjoy all the amenities if I lived nearby.

There are outside benches in front of the library if you want to eat lunch or have a snack before entering. Right next to the benches is a statue of children reading.

If you need assistance with opening the door they do have an automatic door opener and trash can at the entrance.
Children’s & Teen Areas
Walking in you will see the children’s section to your left and teens will be on the right as you walk in further.

What is a Library of Things?
You will find the Library of Things with array of items for you to check out. Here is the link if you want to check it out.
It’s an assortment of random items that can be checked out like
- Musical instruments
- Garden tools
- Kitchen appliances
- Tech

The women’s restroom was very clean with two bathroom stalls available for use and a changing table.
They have two self checkout stations with the option to still check out in person with staff.
OCPL Code of Conduct
All OCPL’s branch’s will have this posted.

If you place a hold, all your holds will be available on a shelf behind the self-checkout stations. To find your hold, look for the first letter of your last name and the last 5 digits of your library card.
In the middle of the library, you will find computers available to log in, allowing two sessions a day. You can also bring your own laptop and use free public WiFi.
If you don’t have a laptop and all the computers are being used, you can check out a laptop from the kiosk to use only in the building.

Heading towards the back you’ll find one of the few OCPL branch’s that have study rooms. The rooms are available to use for free and must reserve ahead of time. You can see directly in the rooms to see if any are available.

To the right of the study rooms is the magazine area with chairs to sit and lounge on.
